How do I enable JavaScript in my browser?


In order to use our advanced editor functions as well as other features, you will need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser. Please keep in mind that upgrading your browser or installing new security software or security patches may affect your JavaScript settings.

To enable JavaScript, please follow the instructions below for your browser. Note you can always switch it off again after using our site by following the same procedure. Once you have enabled JavaScript click here to enter WorkInNonProfits.ca. or hit your browser 'Back' button.

Mozilla Firefox 2.x and 3.x
  • Select 'Tools' from the top menu
  • Choose 'Options'
  • Choose 'Content' from the left or top navigation bar
  • Select the checkbox next to 'Enable JavaScript' and click OK
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.x and 7.x
  • Select 'Tools' from the menu
  • Choose 'Internet Options'
  • Click on the 'Security' tab
  • Click on 'Custom Level'
  • Scroll down (close to the bottom) until you see the section labeled 'Scripting'
  • Under 'Active Scripting', select 'Enable' and click OK
Apple Safari 1.x
  • Select 'Safari' from the top menu
  • Choose 'Preferences'
  • Choose 'Security'
  • Select the checkbox next to 'Enable JavaScript'
Netscape Navigator 4.x
  • Select 'Edit' from the top menu
  • Choose 'Preferences'
  • Choose 'Advanced'
  • Choose 'Scripts & Plugins'
  • Select the 'Enable JavaScript' checkbox and click OK
