The Administration Clerk is responsible for performing a variety of office, accounting and program administration functions for Orange Hall.
High school graduation plus substantial completion of a number of post-secondary courses in a relevant field such as business or program administration
Minimum of 3 years progressive, directly related experience in a comparable and highly computerized environment, including sound experience in office, program and contract administration
OR an equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable to the employer
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
In-depth practical knowledge of office, program, accounting, and contract administration
Good knowledge of government and community agencies and the services they provide
Good understanding of IT systems and excellent computer skills, including a high level of technical proficiency with Microsoft Office products, plus an interest and willingness to learn new applications and systems as required
Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills; ability to find and implement creative and practical solutions to problems
Strong initiative and follow through skills
Ability to work independently as well as function effectively in a team environment.
Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment, while responding to numerous diverse and shifting challenges without compromising the quality of the work.
Ability to exercise maturity and good judgment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to exercise tact, diplomacy and good judgment when dealing with a broad range of
Proficiency in the use of grammar, spelling and punctuation
Ability to type a minimum of 50 wpm
