Renewed Computer Technology is a not for profit organization which manages a number of programs, the largest of which is the computers for schools program in Ontario. 


RCT is looking for a dynamic and experienced professional for the position of Logistics and Donations Coordinator, reporting to the GTA Manager, will be responsible for managing donor relationships and other daily administrative functions.  The person must be energetic and have a pleasing personality.




  • General reception duties – handling incoming calls and responding to general enquiries. Greeting visitors and directing them to appropriate departments
  • Clerical duties, including internal mail distribution, conference call reservations, courier, facsimiles and other clerical functions
  • Liaise with internal staff and managers at our satellite centres
  • Co-Administration of the tax receipt and thank-you letter process
  • Recording and distributing minutes for bi-weekly Managers’ and Project Update Meetings



  • Coordinate and plan all equipment donation pick-ups and deliveries to all RCT centres
  • Coordinate relationship between RCT and Carrier companies
  • Screen, evaluate and manage carrier expenses within the stated annual budget



  • Solicits equipment donations (cold calls) from new and existing clients and maintain donor database
  • Report on donation statistics monthly, quarterly and annually in accordance with program requirements
  • Coordinates the organization’s program-related events - trade shows, e-round-up, AGM and other milestone events



  • Participate in all staff, annual general and special event meetings
  • Participate in cross-functional teams and special task forces, as required.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Post Secondary training in customer service or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of three years customer service experience


Knowledge and Skills

  • Must have a good knowledge of the Greater Toronto area
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word, Access, Outlook
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and proactively problem solve and take initiative
  • Prior experience working in a not-for-profit organization or in a marketing/sales role would be an asset
  • Experience in logistics, an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment
  • Traveling may be required from time to time
