Community Living North Halton, in partnership with families and the community, support the choices and personal growth of individuals with a developmental disability.  


Our mission is to provide supports and services to individuals with developmental disabilities and to enhance their personal growth and inclusion in the community.  CLNH is a community where everyone belongs and is valued.

We are seeking individuals to provide support in our residential homes and alternative support programs. 



  • Community College Diploma or a University Degree in Social Sciences:  Developmental Service Worker / Social Service Worker /  Child and Youth Worker / Child and Youth Care /  Early Childhood Education / Autism and Behavioural Sciences.  Related Experience preferred.   (Students currently enrolled in these programs are welcome to submit applications for consideration)
  • Demonstrated commitment in implementing communication and behavioural support plans with an opportunity to work closely in a clinical team around treatments and behavioural supports
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate and support Person Centered Planning and Daily Activity Schedules.
  • Must be comfortable working in a video monitored home
  • Knowledge and experience in supporting individuals with Autism / Dual Diagnosis / Mental Health disorders.
  • Able to support individuals in their daily physical activities - this position requires highly active individuals and to be comfortable in all activities (such as swimming, hiking, gymnastics etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to drive any of the agency vehicles
  • Demonstrated experience and flexibility in providing supports to individuals with challenging aggressive behaviours
  • Commitment in involving people to become more involved in their communities.
  • Experience and flexibility to work in different areas across the association
  • Candidates are required to have a valid Ontario Driver’s License.  The successful candidate would have to provide proof that s/he has a valid driver`s license upon being hired



Primarily evenings and weekends

(Shifts may vary, depending on the workload schedule that meets the needs of the people we support)
