Take on leadership duties in the upkeep of our properties
As you perform Pest Control / Heat Treatment Operator functions, you will also be accountable for directing, training and assigning work for a team of pest control program staff. You will conduct pre- and post-treatment inspections, liaising with groundskeepers, property portfolio managers and site staff and issuing preparatory instructions to tenants. It will also fall to you to ensure compliance with work standards and deadlines and recommend improvements as well as inspect and maintain equipment, order supplies and maintain records. You will coordinate other pest-control services, including the application of pesticides, as required.
You have supported your completion of Grade 12 with good organization and problem-solving skills, a background in tenant/client relations plus experience supervising or managing workers in a complex, ever-changing environment. Intermediate skills with the MS Office suite are required, along with a Pesticide Applicator's licence (or the willingness to obtain one). This is a physical role requiring lifting, climbing and exposure to heat. Come prepared to work shifts or on weekends and travel around the Lower Mainland. A satisfactory criminal records check will be required. If you have previous experience providing pest control services and operating Temp Air heat treatment equipment, so much the better.
