The Fund Development Coordinator is an integral member of a small team responsible for supporting fundraising for the Dancers of Damelahamid.
Reporting to the Dancers of Damelahamid’s Executive Director, the Fund Development Coordinator provides support for the planning and execution of all aspects of private sector funding.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Together with the Board of Directors, the Fundraising Council, and the Executive Director, you will execute a fundraising plan focused on building strong relationships with annual individual donors, corporate partners and foundations. You will be responsible for the execution of donor cultivation and stewardship events. You will build on the development plan to support the development program’s future success.
The primary activities for the position include organizing annual campaigns, the major gift program, cultivating and stewarding donors, designing tailored solicitations for individuals and corporate partners, sponsorships, cultivation events, and providing support to the Executive Director.
You have a minimum of one to two years of fundraising experience and an undergraduate degree in social sciences, business administration or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
You have experience developing individual donor strategies including solicitation experience. You possess excellent interpersonal skills. Your written and oral communications skills are exceptional. You also have experience in database management, excel, and word-processing.
You have experience executing fundraisings campaigns and events. You possess excellent organization and time management skills, communication skills, including ability to write and speak persuasively about the Dancers of Damelahamid’s mission. You have the ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member.

Supports the ED to develop and deliver the Dancers of Damelahamid Fund Development program including: - provide administrative support for the Fundraising Committee, prepare committee materials, - maintain reminders and communications with donors.
