Our mission is to provide supports and services to individuals with developmental disabilities and to enhance their personal growth and inclusion in the community.

We are looking for a Scheduling ./ Administrative Assistant for our Scheduling Department.


  • Responsible for the creation and maintenance of our program schedules in a unionized environment
  • Strong verbal and communication skills, to provide direct support to Managers and Scheduling partner regarding scheduling and administrative duties
  • To answer any questions regrading scheduling to employees or Managers
  • To ensure that all shifts are filled accurately and in a timely manner
  • To ensure that the scheduling system is updated daily and accurately
  • To ensure that schedules are printed off and sent to employees to sign of weekly


  • Community College Diploma in Business Administration / Scheduling
  • 2-5 years of experience in Scheduling or Administrative duties
  • Strong mathematical ability; patterns and logical deductions and statistical concepts an asset
  • Flexibility required to work days, afternoon and to be available to work Saturday and/or Sunday
  • Solid ability to plan, organize and effectively manage large volume of requests and workload with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience working in a unionized environment would be considered an asset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, conflict resolution and problem solving skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Professional image and presentation of strong communication abilities
  • Strong conflict management skills with the ability to diffuse situations with appropriate resolutions or compromise
  • Ability to manage, stress, adapt and move easily with change
  • Proficiency in Excel and database management
  • Valid Ontario G-Class Driver's license
