DASCH provides residential and day support services to adults and youth living with developmental disabilities. DASCH currently has over 50 homes and 4 day programs supporting over 200 individuals. We are currently hiring for the position of Program Coordinator Assistant. Program Coordinator Assistant is responsible for maintaining comprehensive program delivery under the direction of Director of Operations and assisting Program Coordinators in their daily responsibilities.

The program Coordinator Assistant performs a wide range of duties including the following

  • Develop a staffing pattern in the best interests of the individuals of the house
  • Provide admin support and duties on behalf of home including payroll scheduling, time entry submissions, record keeping, Incident Report processing
  • Provide back-up support to client account accounts administration and front desk
  • Assist with licensing preparations, CRM maintenance, IPP/ Path facilitation
  • Maintain effective communication with Program Coordinators, Head Office staff and in each Individual’s support network
  • Schedule and participate in Program Coordinators’ meetings
  • Ensure compliance with DASCH philosophies, goals regulations and policies & procedures.
  • Ensure safety compliance, safe working conditions, safe procedures and practices and adherence to them as set out in The Workplace Safety and Health Act
  • Other administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Operations


  • Certificate in Disability and Community Support with minimum of two years related administrative experience
  • Current Emergency First Aid certificate and Class 5 driver’s License with access to a vehicle for employment
  • Sound knowledge of developmental disabilities and experience working in the field.
  • Able to obtain NVCI certification, and first aid certification.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are required
  • Employment with DASCH requires a satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Adult and Child Abuse Registry Check prior to finalizing the appointment of successful candidates.
