Now Hiring PART TIME VOLUNTEER RECRUITERS to engage with past, present, and new volunteers by telephone in preparation for the 2017 Heart Month campaign in February.
The Heart and Stroke Foundation Toronto Area Office is looking for committed and enthusiastic individuals to work part-time to recruit volunteers who will canvas their neighbourhood during Heart Month.
As a recruiter you will be the voice of the Heart and Stroke Foundation. This role involves placing outbound calls to residential neighbourhoods to recruit and educate individuals across Toronto about how they can get involved during Heart Month, as well as calling past volunteers to ask for their continued support.

Role Details: Location: 2300 Yonge St. ( Yonge and Eglinton )
Contract details: October 26th 2016 (preferred start date) to Jan 15 2017
Part-time- Must be available a min of 3 shifts per week
Monday to Fridays: 4:30pm-8:30pm; Sundays: 12-4pm
Rate of Pay : $ 12.50 - $ 14.50/ hour –based on performance metrics
- Place outbound calls to recruit new volunteer canvassers
- Meet recruitment targets set at the beginning of each shift
- Maintain accurate records of responses received by those contacted
- Provide effective and professional customer service and relationship management
You are a positive, persuasive communicator able to build rapport quickly over the phone with excellent English communication skills. YOU ARE COMMITTED AND DEDICATED TO THE CAUSE!
