The Welcome Centre is a non-profit organization that initiates, organizes and launches programs, services and events for newcomers, immigrants and refugees in order to ease their settlement and blending in with the Canadian Society.

The incumbent hired as a We Care Support Administrator will:

- support the development, delivery, and promotion of services offered through the We Care program;
- deal with shifting priorities, ensuring that all information is produced within deadlines in a professional, accurate manner;
- collaborate with Welcome Centre Office Administrator and other team members to effective execution of initiatives;
- organize, photocopy and scan all collected documentation and file for easy database retrieval
- engage with key stakeholders (internal and external) in the work and results of the Welcome Centre initiatives;
- where appropriate, participate in meetings with staff of the Welcome Centre
- You may be required to work extended hours, evenings and weekends.


Basic requirements of the position




- Completion of Grade 10 (must be at least 15 years old)




- Relevant experience is an asset but not required


Skills & Competencies


- Basic to intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability and flexibility to manage time and priorities effectively
- Ability to apply initiative and creativity when approaching challenges
- Strong communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality


Language Requirements

Fluency in English is required
Fluency in Arabic is preferred but not required.
