WE is seeking a strong leader to act as a Director to join the Partner Relations team. They will be accountable for maintaining the health and success of partners with a key focus on partner retention and re-engagement, growth/expansion and also escalation to leadership of any new opportunities or risks associated with partners. The incumbent will report directly to the Head, National Corporate Partners acting as an ambassador for the organization.
 
This individual must be passionate and committed to the core beliefs of the organization—the WE.org Philosophy.
 
The position is based out of WE’s office in Toronto.
 
Your Impacts:

  • Solid management of partner relationships
  • Develop and execute account strategies that drive long-term partner engagement
  • Execute, track and measure all partnership deliverables and milestones
  • Oversee the National Partnerships team – hire, retain, develop and evaluate team and structure
  • Proactively seek and identify partnership growth and integration opportunities
  • Responsible for the team business targets for partners
  • Responsible for re-engagement and renewal of partnerships in line with contract dates
  • Lead and/or participate in Annual Business Planning and Account Planning
  • Responsible for driving matrix goals for cross sell opportunities across the group of organizations
  • Work closely with leadership and executive team on larger partnerships
  • Information management and project management of complex multi-year partnership commitments

 
What you bring:

  • Postsecondary Degree or Certificate in related field (ex. business, marketing, communications, project management etc.)
  • 5+ years’ experience in an account management or marketing role
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior decision makers in organizations and to develop long term relationships
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of trends in corporate social responsibility, corporate philanthropy and cause marketing
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills in all internal and external relations
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities within tight deadlines
  • Experience with the consultative sales process (preferred)

 
Travel: 15% in North America
