WE is seeking an experienced and results driven Junior Producer, (internally known as Coordinator, WE Day Show Programming & Production) to work with the WE Day Production Team and manage the development of the WE Day tour’s onstage content. The Junior Producer will sit on the WE Day Production team, reporting directly to the Associate Producer of Show Programming & Production and Supervising Producer. The Junior Producer will support in ensuring that all organizational priorities and key messaging is reflected strategically on the WE Day stage.

The position is based out of WE’s office in Toronto.
 
Your Impacts:

  • Work with external agencies to create onstage visuals, including performances and multi-screen designs
  • Design visual assets using Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
  • Ensure all visual assets are aligned with the narrative of each script
  • Coordinate, manage and update all internal and external visual assets for show
  • Coordinate and ensure accuracy and organization on all assigned tasks to be carried out
  • Attend all production meetings and take accurate and concise notes of required revisions
  • Prepare presentations and meeting materials for internal and external meetings
  • Continually ensure that the most up-to-date information and tools are delivered to appropriate individuals/departments within defined timeframes and tight deadlines.
  • Proactively suggest and organize alternate plans to deal with delays that could affect the content, schedule, or quality of work
  • Participate in defining project deliverables in communication with other internal departments
  • Perform general administrative duties


What you bring:

  • 1-2 years experience in live events, event production, television or related field
  • Completed a post-secondary education in relevant area of study
  • Experienced with Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator)
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Word)
  • Superior organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage conflicting interests
  • Resourceful and proven ability to research ideas and concepts through efficient channels
  • Creative “Out-of-the-box” thinking
  • Must be willing to travel for extended periods of time and work flexible hours
  • Adaptable and thrives in stressful situations and strong team player.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of discretion and confidentiality
  • Motivated to achieve optimal results
  • Executes high level of positivity and professionalism in the office and at We Day events.
