Scheduling / Administrative Assistant

CLNH is inviting qualified applicants for a Part Time position in our Scheduling Department, which coordinates staffing resources for the agency.  



  • To provide direct support to Managers and Coordinators regarding scheduling and administrative duties
  • To ensure that all shifts are filled accurately and in a timely manner
  • To analyze the schedule to support appropriate staffing levels, and highlight any challenges and problem solve with the program managers
  • To ensure that the Scheduling System - Inclusion is updated with each change to ensure accuracy
  • To work within the Collective Agreement between CLNH and the union
  • To ensure that excellent customer service is provided to the CLNH staff and Managers
  • To support our partners of the agency in their documentation requests.
  • Demonstrated ability to work alone, with strong problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a rapidly changing environment with competing priorities


  • Community College Diploma as an Administrative Assistant
  • 2 – 5 years of working experience within an office enviornment
  • Flexibility required to work 1-9 p.m shifts 2 times a week with weekends required (Saturday and Sunday)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, conflict resolution and problem solving skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Polite telephone manner
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office including Outlook Express
  • Effective problem solving and crisis management skills
  • Valid Ontario G-Class Drivers License
