  • Oversee every aspect of toy shop operation
  • Communicate with program staff on toy packing progress
  • Work with volunteers to organize and pack toys according to client’s wish list, age and gender
  • Sort and replenish toys in stockroom
  • Maintain toy storage area neat and tidy
  • Assist in toy distribution
  • Perform other related duties as assigned


  • High School Education (an alternative level of education and experience may be acceptable)
  • Possess exceptional organizational skill
  • Demonstrate empathy and concern for clients and volunteers with respect, assertiveness and tact
  • Possess good leadership and communication skills
  • Be able to work with a team consisting of staff and volunteers
  • Possess a keen sense of selecting age-appropriate toys for children
  • Be able to perform moderate lifting (40 lbs)
  • Proficient computer skill is an asset
  • Agree to undergo a Criminal Records Check



Up to three (3) months of prior related experience, including, experience working with multi-barriered persons.


  • Contract (November 9 – December 22, 2017)
  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm. Flexible hours may be required.
