POSITION:      Client Records Support Worker - Temp Full Time

                            Position is temporary until incumbent returns


SALARY:         $19.69 as per the Collective Agreement



  • Monday through Friday
  • Shift times are 09:00 to 17:00 hrs
  • Shifts are 7.25 hours in length
  • Days of rest shall be consecutive. Schedule may change with two weeks’ notice
  • Probationary/ qualifying period will be 488 hours with mid and end point reviews



The Client Records Support Worker reports to the Site Manager and works in accordance with the mission and philosophy of Lookout Housing and Health Society including following Lookout’s Code of Ethics. (CRSW) performs a variety of record duties and IT support functions such as data collection and management, coding, abstracting and performing qualitative and quantitative analysis, and duties related to support of computer hardware and software. The Client Record Support person will orient staff and/or provide direction to volunteers.



JOB DUTIES: (in brief)

 Performs a variety of word processing duties such as inputting client information, maintaining relevant registers, updating manuals, and preparing reports

 Provides support related to hardware, software, application programs, and basic network communications.

 Checks client records for accuracy, completeness, and correctness.

 Processes corrections, and updates information and changes. Codes and abstracts client records for required information.

 Performs qualitative and quantitative data analyses.

 Orients staff to record management requirements.

 This position provides remote support to other programs, including the occasional requirement to be on site at other locations



  • Minimum Grade 12 plus one (1) year recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience or other qualifications determined to be reasonable and relevant to the level of work.
  • Must have current OFA 1 First Aid Certificate
  • Crisis Intervention Skills Training an asset
  •  Ability to work independently or in a team setting
  •  Strong ability to manage stress and organize workload
  •  Excellent communication, writing and documentation and organizational skills.
  •  Understands and maintain clientele/worker boundaries
  •  Ability to work with disadvantaged and challenging adults in a diverse environment
  •  Ability to install, upgrade, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain computer equipment and software      applications, including knowledge of practices and procedures

 A minimum of two (2) years sobriety if you have had concerns related to alcohol and/or drug use.

 Criminal Record Clearance – vulnerable sector
