Due to internal promotions and expansion within our Development Team, we have an opening for a one year Temporary Full-Time Development Assistant located in our Vancouver office. As a key member of the Development team, this position provides administrative support to multiple teams including Major Gifts, Corporate & Community Partnerships, Analytics & Database Administration, Research and Stewardship. The Development Assistant also provides administrative support to the Communications, Marketing & Events team, as time permits.

THIS IS SOME OF WHAT YOU BRING: High school diploma, supplemented with business administration courses and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant administration experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. You have well rounded administrative skills demonstrated through supporting a diverse team, as well as excellent organizational and time management skills. You have excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with sound knowledge of grammar and the ability to compose clear and concise correspondence and reports. You are well versed in Microsoft Office Suite including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with Raiser’s Edge or similar fundraising database is an asset.
