Little Angels Christian Childcare Centre; a faith-based Organization is currently looking for a Childcare Supervisor to join its big team. At little Angels Christian Childcare Centre, we believe that Children learn through God’s Word and that positive learning experiences help build children’s self-esteem.





  • Early Childhood Education Diploma or a University Degree in
  • Child Studies
  • Member of the College of ECE
  • Minimum 5 of experience in a supervisory Role                          
  • Current First Aid and C.P.R. Level C
  • Valid Police Record Check (vulnerable Sector)



  1. Program Development, Planning and Implementation


  • Plan and implement a program that reflects the Christian philosophy of the Centre.
  • Provide a safe, nurturing, and loving environment for Children.
  • Coordinate the Children’s Program using “how does learning happens” and ELECT guidelines.
  • Implement a play based program that nurtures children physically, intellectually, emotionally, socially and spiritually.
  • Oversee weekly, monthly and yearly goals of curriculum and evaluate its success.


  1. Leadership
  • Manage, and schedule staff to ensure proper staff child ratios.
  • Evaluate and document all aspects of each staff member’s job performance.
  • Provide support and direction to staff regarding child development.
  • Designate and train employees.
  • Conduct and oversee monthly staff meetings.
  • Responsible for collaborating with staff regarding daily preparation of  playroom and playground as well as organizing the cleaning of the center as  necessary, following the procedures for sanitary practices.
  • Ensure safety through maintenance of building, playground and equipment.
  1. Parents
  • Provide an orientation and interpret the policies and programs of the center to parents.
  • Conduct parent meetings and conferences and facilitate teacher/parent communication.
  • Communicate with parents at all times to answer questions and address concerns.
  1. Public Relations
  • Arrange and provide parents with thorough tours around the Centre.
  • Promote a positive image of the Child Care Program to the public.
  • Maintain adequate liaison with the appropriate agencies, professional associations and other child care programs in the city.
  • Establishes working relationships with community partners to develop support and service partnerships with community groups to develop resources for children and their families.
  • Be knowledgeable, informed, and current on child care philosophy.
  • Participate in Supervisory meeting and workshops.


  1. Administrative and financials
  • Review biweekly payroll timesheets and submit to accounting for processing.
  • Manage all licensing duties and issues; implement all licensing policies.
  • Initiate growth and evaluation of programs.




Salary will commensurate with years of experience and qualification. The successful candidate will be offered Health benefits and RRSP.
