PROGRAM MANAGER

We are looking for a mature individual with excellent interpersonal and

communication skills for this client focused position.

               Permanent Position                            37.5 hours per week                               $24/hour

The Program Manager reports directly to the Executive Director and is responsible for providing direct support and information to victims of crime or trauma on a crisis or in-office basis. The Program Manager also attends court dates at the Morinville Provincial Courthouse.

The Program Manager, in conjunction with the Executive Director is responsible for volunteer recruitment and supervision and the public awareness of the not for profit program.

Qualifications:

  • Post secondary degree or diploma in human service or social work
  • (equivalencies and/or previous experience will be considered)
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience preferred
  • Strong organizational, administrative and time management skills
  • Able to handle stressful circumstances
  • Team player with the ability to work on their own
  • Able to work in a team environment in a small office setting
  • Must obtain an RCMP Enhanced Security Clearance (post interview)
  • Possess a valid Alberta Driver’s Licence
  • Ability to work some evenings and be on call for crisis support
  • Computer proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
