Richmond Society for Community Living is a medium sized non-profit agency that provides support and services to children and adults with developmental disabilities. We are currently accepting applications for a :


Community Support Worker (32 hours weekly, Saturday-Wednesday) in our Adult Day Services.

We are looking for enthusiastic persons who have strong leadership and communication skills, as well the empowering perspective of increasing the quality of individuals lives through social inclusion and personal development.

The priority is to support and facilitate the development of skills and competencies that will assist adults to pursue and fulfill their goals and aspirations that are developed in collaboration and consultation with the individual and his/her support network.


Education and Experience:
Diploma relating to direct service to people who have a developmental disability.
At least 6 months previous work experience in a similar environment is preferred
(an equivalent combination of experience, training and education will be considered)

Additional Information and Requirements:
Approved Criminal Record Search
Attending Physicians Report
TB Test
Valid CPR and First Aid Certificates, and valid BC Driver's License Required (Class 4 beneficial)
