Job Description:

Toronto Run & Roll Against Violence (TRRAV)

Fundraiser CONTRACT

 

 

 

Hours: 187.5 HOURS            

MAY 2018 – OCTOBER 30th, 2018

Rate of Pay:         $30/hour + 8% in lieu of benefits

1 DAY/week from MAY 2018 to OCTOBER 30th, 2018

 

 

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

 

 

Co-coordination: Working with TRCCMWAR Staff supporting the execution of the event

 

Outreach: Obtain and retain runner community to participate in run (through online and in-person outreach)

  • Raising awareness of the TRCCMWAR through TRRAV promotion by giving talks to groups
  • Seeking opportunities with media (mainstream and social media) to promote TRRAV
  • Attend events in-person during Spring & Summer running season to promote TRRAV
  • Graphic design skills for web-based and in-person advertising

 

Managing Registrations:

  • Manage registration of individual fundraisers (runners)
  • Maintain database of attendees and individual fundraisers (runners);
  • Developing relationships with individual fundraisers (runners); 
  • Responding to inquiries from runners via email and online

 

 

Event Logistics: Setting up event day logistics

  • Coordination of registration table
  • Coordination of start/finish line
  • Coordination of registration volunteers
  • Registration of runners on event day
  • Construction and distribution of race kits

 

Coding & Graphic Design: Developing and coordinating web-based fundraising

  • Coding for trrav.ca and registration button on website
  • Managing registration through canadahelps.org
  • Updating and managing social media outlets (facebook, twitter, trrav.ca)
  • Graphic design update; TRRAV logos and flyers, web-based ads and TTC ad campaign
  • Designing logos and ordering t-shirts for race kits

 

Other:

  • Developing and implementing a strategy for corporate sponsor recruitment and development
  • Provide regular updates to TRRAV committee
  • Draft documents including sponsorship package, donation letters and press package
  • Solicit donations for race kits
  • Any other required tasks for the success of the 3rd Annual TRRAV
