JVS Toronto’s Newcomer Services offer a variety of programs to Internationally Trained Individuals in a range of occupational fields, including Job Search Workshop for Newcomers, Enhanced Language Training, Mentoring and Bridge Training programs.

 

Reporting to the Director of Newcomer Services, the Newcomer Programs Operations Manager will:

  • Oversee and coordinate intake activities for all Newcomer Programs to ensure enrollment targets are met
  • Coordinate reporting for Newcomer Programs utilizing the required funder databases. Support Newcomer Program Managers in preparation of quarterly and annual funder reports for data consistency. Prepare quarterly and Annual reports in iCARE
  • Oversee internal data collection and reporting for JVS Newcomer Services in Salesforce. Serve as the lead and point of contact for any Salesforce issues and inquiries within the Newcomer Programs
  • Liaise with IRCC on deliverables, reporting and financial aspect of the operations
  • Monitor and assess program budgets and financial statements to ensure that numbers are accurate, targets are being met and expenses are within budget; communicate findings as necessary
  • Manage the day to day operations, monitor and maintain programs evaluations, supervise administrative staff
  • Monitor program activities, files and other relevant documentation for quality assurance
  • Support the JVS North Senior Management Team and contribute to cross-JVS Toronto projects and initiatives

Please note that flexible hours/evenings/ weekends may be required.

 

You have a university degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience in Business Administration or a related field, with 3-5 years’ experience administering complex projects. Experience with coordinating client intake and strong understanding of Newcomer Services is essential. You have demonstrated excellent communication, problem-solving, decision-making, time management and organizational skills, with a proven track record of team leadership. You are a strong administrator with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel in a Windows environment. Knowledge of iCARE and Sales Force is a necessity. You are culturally sensitive when dealing with clients, employees and the community and deal effectively with a wide variety of individuals.
