Position:                           Full-time summer student positions (3)


Location:                          CCRW National Office (477 Mount Pleasant Road Suite 105, Toronto ON M4S 2L9)


Hours of Work:                30-40 hours/week*


Start Date:                        On or around May 1, 2018*



Pay Level:                        $14.00/hour*

                                            *Pending funding approval from Service Canada


CCRW is the pre-eminent Canadian centre of excellence on the economic, social and psychological aspects of disability (be it one or more physical, sensory, medical, learning or mental health disability), as they impact people's ability to seek, acquire and retain productive employment.


CCRW has applied for funding under the Canada Summer Jobs Grant program and are seeking full-time students who will be returning to full-time studies in September 2018 to support various programs and initiatives in the following areas:


  • General administration
  • Finance
  • Special events & marketing


Pending successful funding approval, these summer positions are scheduled to commence in May for approximately 12 to 16 weeks duration.

General Qualifications:


  • Currently pursuing post-secondary studies in marketing, communications, graphic design, event planning and management, ICT, business operations management, tourism, hospitality administration, accounting, finance, human resources, business or another related area with plans to return to full-time studies in September 2018


  • Highly skilled in social media marketing (Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook) and related applications (Survey Monkey, Eventbrite, PiktoChart, Prezi)


  • Highly proficient using Microsoft Office software (Publisher, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).


  • Experience with Office 365 preferred


  • Experience using WordPress preferred


  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills, fluency in additional languages an asset


  • Attentive to details; excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and time management skills


  • Takes initiative with regards to problem solving; team-oriented, creative and innovative


  • Familiarity with and understanding of the barriers experienced by job seekers with disabilities as well as an awareness of cross-cultural sensitivities and issues
