Who we areThe Canadian Council on Rehabilitation and Work is a non-profit organization that actively assists people with a disability with find and obtain employment.  Youth the Future is a 20 week pre-employment training program for youth aged 15-30.  During the first 6 weeks of the program, participants are in class learning and practicing the skills they need for job development and retention.  The following 14 weeks, participates will be on the job.  With the help of a job coach, it is the hope and goal that our youth will maintain employment at the end of the 20 weeks.


What we need - A positive, client -oriented individual who:


  • Is inspired to help youth maintain and achieve their employment goals.
  • Has experience working with Youth living with barriers.
  • Has experience working as a job coach/mentor.


What you will do - Support Youth on the job:

  • Coaching participants on the job and helping them to develop the skills and knowledge needed to maintain employment. 
  • Working one-to-one with participants to develop and monitor their individualized progress.
  • Work in the Brampton and Mississauga area
  • Send weekly communication about participants to Program Coordinator.
