The Richmond Society for Community Living (RSCL) is a non-profit agency that offers a variety of programs and services for adults and children with developmental disabilities. The Society is currently accepting applications for a:

Manager, Infant Development Program


The Manager oversees the day to day operations of the RSCL Infant Development Program. Infant Development Program is an early intervention program providing home visits to families with children from birth to 3 years old that are at risk for developmental delays, have developmental delays, and/or a diagnosed disability.  Working alongside a team of dedicated Consultants, the Manager is responsible for the development, organization and monitoring of services and supports within their department.

The Manager ensures that services and supports are family-centered and comply with all internal and external standards and regulations. The Manager will role model an approach that regards each child and family as unique and believes that parents/caregivers know their child best.


Qualifications:
•An appropriate degree in Child Development, Social Services or a related field and/or an appropriate combination of education and experience relevant to the position;
•Three to five years of progressively more responsible program management experience in the social service/community living services sector.

•Ability to build and effective team, manage personnel and performance issues in an effective and progressive manner.
•Strong planning and program development skills and experience.
•Ability to build effective working relationships with other professionals, family members, and organizations to ensure services are in the families and child’s best interest and are supportive of their goals.
