RECRUITMENT COORDINATOR

 

POSITION SUMMARY

Performs a variety of recruitment and administrative support activities for recruitment and selection processes, tracks activities, analyses data and submits reports, coordinates internal posting and external advertising processes such as posting positions, setting up competition files and scheduling interviews for panel members. This position is the super-user of current PeopleSoft eRecruit module and is involved in testing and implementing new versions or updates. Trains panel members on use of eRecruit and is the Administrator of HR eRecruit module. Provides other administrative support activities for recruitment team members including providing confidential administrative support functions for the Manager Recruitment.

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

 

The successful candidate will have the following:

 

EDUCATION:

  • Diploma in HR Management
  • Five years office administration experience within a team environment, preferably in a Human Resources department in a mid-sized to large organization.
  • Experience working in highly computerized environments
  • Experience working with complex, time sensitive Human Resource Information Systems an asset,
  • Advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, Email, and PowerPoint). Must have advanced Excel skills.
  • Prior exposure to recruitment an asset

 

 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to foster strong working relationships to accomplish objectives.
  • Ability to trouble shoot eRecruit and other software programs
  • Strong computer skills  Must have over 40 wpm with high accuracy.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and interpersonal skills, with a positive pro-active approach.
  • Ability to exercise judgment, diplomacy and tact in dealing with varied day-to-day issues.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with senior managers and facilitate the completion of various activities.
  • Ability to assess issues, and prepare materials, reports and correspondence.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, problem solving, time management and expediting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple issues and projects, co-ordinate work with others, keep management apprised of issues and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Must have excellent use of business grammar and spelling.
  • Ability to deal with matters of a confidential nature.
  • Ability to work under pressure with frequent interruptions and meet pre-determined deadlines.
  • Basic knowledge of ARCS/ORCS or other general office filing systems.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy, ability to handle multiple assignments/activities.
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize in a fast paced team environment.
