Richmond Society for Community Living is a medium sized non-profit agency that provides support and services to children and adults with developmental disabilities. We are currently accepting applications for a:

Consultant, Infant Development Program (37.5 hours weekly)


Infant Development Program is an early intervention program providing home visits to families with children from birth to 3 years old that are at risk for developmental delays, have developmental delays, and/or a diagnosed disability. 

The consultant should have following skills and abilities:

  • Ability to work with children with developmental disabilities and families in home
  • Ensure that services and supports are family-centered
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong organization skill, and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Able to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Knowledge of group processes and ability to apply facilitation techniques
  • Ability to develop partnerships with outside agencies and other involved parties.

A degree in a field related to child development and one to three years progressively more responsible experience is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Approved Criminal Record Search
A Valid Class 5 British Columbia Driver's License and access to a vehicle is also required.
