We are currently recruiting for a 28 hour per week position consisting of 17.5 hours per week as an Employment Specialist – BC Settlement, English and Spanish Speaking and 10.5 hours per week as a Newcomer Information and Support Worker – English and Spanish Speaking to join our team in Surrey, BC.

Employment Specialists provide social and economic integration support to Temporary Residents who are working in B.C. and have the intent to stay and Naturalized Citizens who are looking to be more fully engaged in the job market.

Newcomer Information and Support Workers provide newcomer immigrants and refugees with information, orientation, service linking and short-term adaptation counselling to facilitate their successful settlement and integration into the community. As part of this process, the worker acts as a liaison between the immigrant and/or refugee client, and the third party service providers to facilitate the communication and access to programs and services.
