Fraserside Community Services Society invites applications for the following position:




As a member of the Fraserside Community Services Society Management team, the Community Living Manager is responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio including the Community Inclusion Day Programs, Residential Programs, the Supported Employment Program and the Home Share Program.

Accountable to the Chief Executive Officer, the successful candidate will:

  • Oversee delivery of a range of community living services, supervise staff and manage budgets
  • Direct and facilitate ongoing program evaluation, planning, and implementation, including formal, annual program reviews with setting of objectives for each program
  • Liaise with funders, contractors, community services and staff and prepare financial and service reports as required
  • Ensure programs function effectively to meet the needs of clients and all staff work in accordance with CLBC funding contractual obligations, Fraserside policies and procedures and all relevant Acts and Regulations including the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA) and the Residential Care Regulations (RCR) where applicable
  • Provide leadership within the community on behalf of the Agency regarding community living initiatives
  • Participate as a member of the Fraserside management team



  • University degree in a human services discipline and a minimum 5 years’ direct experience in a supervisory/leadership capacity in the community living field
  • Skilled in accreditation, communication, organizational development, leadership, team building, and establishing productive, collaborative working relationships with the community and funders
  • Knowledge of the supported employment model and delivery of home share services
  • Familiarity with programs that support the strengths, needs and interests of adults with developmental disabilities within their home, day programs and community is essential
  • Successful Person in Charge Application with Community Care Licensing is required
  • Demonstrated ability and commitment to working effectively with diverse populations
  • Class 5 Driver’s License, business insurance and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Satisfactory completion of a Criminal Record Check is required

Salary: This is a full-time excluded position 37.5 hrs/wk with competitive salary and benefits package.
