Position/Poste: Curriculum Coordinator & Facilitator – One Year Contract

 

Duties/Fonctions:
The ES Curriculum Coordinator and Facilitator is responsible for the development and/or revision of Employment Services professional development or training programs as identified based on the needs of the program. The position will research, gather information; write and develop material delivery options independently. The Curriculum Coordinator will lead development of training curriculum, incorporating principles of adult learning and curriculum development methodology, including learning objectives, course content, teaching materials, learning assessment tools and lesson plans. The resulting standardized curriculum must meet the expectations of the funder(s) and March of Dimes Canada. The Curriculum Coordinator must work collaboratively with the group to produce the best possible product. Once developed, the incumbent must work collaboratively with the individuals who will deliver the workshops/training to facilitate standardization in both content and delivery. The incumbent will develop, implement and coordinate activities and resources while programs are operating. Integration of new or revised curriculum, delivery mechanisms and materials will be integrated into existing programming in a seamless fashion without service disruption.

Qualifications/Compétences requises:
•Bachelor’s degree in Education, or a related field
•Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a course developer or instructional designer and facilitator.
•Previous experience as an adult educator.
•Experience with outcomes-based education
•Experience in development and delivery of face-to-face and hybrid workshop materials
•Ability to establish and maintain a professional and effective working relationship with employees at all levels in the organization and external entities
•Must have the ability to work independently and as on a team, and with multiple tasks
•Advanced skills in Word/Excel/Powerpoint
•Self-motivation to achieve results; initiative
