SCOPE & PURPOSE:

 

Reporting to the Director of Programs and working closely with the Director of Development and Engagement, the Corporate and Community Partnership Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the support and stewardship of corporate volunteers and community partners.

 

This position is a multi-faceted role that will help JA cultivate and strengthen its relationships with corporate and community groups who allow us to meet delivery goals, connect us with youth outside of the school system, and be seen as a key player in community development. Potential for growth within the organization is possible with this position.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support Senior Leadership to identify new and steward existing corporate and community partnerships
  • Manage and implement individual stewardship plans for existing corporate and community partnerships
  • Complete impact reports for corporate and community partners at year’s end
  • Complete timely entry and maintenance of all corporate volunteer info into JA volunteer database
  • Manage and execute corporate volunteer training sessions
  • Distribute program materials to corporate volunteers
  • Match corporate volunteers to registered school and Future Leaders Week programs
  • Collaborate with Program Team to manage appreciation efforts for corporate volunteers
  • Collect feedback from schools and corporate volunteers. Compile this information for reporting, improvement, and marketing purposes
  • Support Program Team with the coordination of individual volunteers and delivery of programs at school locations as necessary

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-secondary diploma/degree or equivalent experience in business administration, public relations, human resources, volunteer management, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, & Outlook) and Google
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; conflict management skills
  • High degree of motivation and self-direction; superior organizational skills
  • Class 5 driver’s license necessary

 

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Aptitude and enthusiasm for educating local youth and any experience in the non-profit sector
  • Relationship building ability with community stakeholders
  • Knowledge of local community, business, and volunteer networks
  • Experience with an online database system is an asset
