Our client, The Asper Foundation is seeking a highly analytical, detail oriented Project Administrator to join their team to help make their vision a reality.

 

The Asper Foundation is a private philanthropic organization which generally initiates its own projects. It has undertaken and developed, or is developing, major initiatives in the areas of culture, education, community development and human rights.

 

The Project Administrator provides assistance to the Strategic Partnership Campaign Manager and Project Team in the form administrative and logistical support as well as database administration.

 

Responsibilities

  • Sumac Database Management, Administration and Troubleshooting including creating and managing donor/prospects relating to profiles, relationships, background info, interest, contributions and records management.
  • Administration to also include creating various reports, data extractions and exports from the CRM system as required.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings to take notes, discuss prospects, updates and upcoming travel.
  • Internet Research as required.
  • Assistance with Events - Prepare mailing lists, invitations, etc. as required.
  • Compile prospect proposal packages as required.
  • Provide accurate recording, reporting & managing donor information in confidential files and information systems.
  • Miscellaneous administrative support, including word processing, spreadsheets, copying, faxing, filing and data entry.
  • Reception - Greet and direct any Visitors or Guests.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of database management and procedures
  • Experience in a not for profit or fundraising environment
  • Exceptional organization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Exceptional verbal & written communication skills to efficiently gather and relay information both internally and externally
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other team members. Flexible and accommodating to competing priorities
  • Appropriate handling of confidential information
  • Professional in appearance and manner
