Under the direction of the Director of Research and Policy, the Learning Program Service Coordinator is vital to the delivery of all education, facilitations, training initiatives that Egale carries out:

  • Manage trainers and facilitators’ roster and scheduling for the organization’s external and internal learning programs
  • Manage facilitators’ contracts and program budget
  • Coordinate all travel arrangement, reconcile and report travel costs and reimbursements
  • Conduct facilitation and training satisfaction and effectiveness survey, analyze survey results and provide feedback to training team
  • Participate in education events planning and execution, including booking venue, arranging catering, responding to participants’ inquiries and questions
  • Provide administrative support to the education team
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure organizational alignment
  • And other duties, as directed, for the delivery of the department’s strategic priorities and/or to meet key deadlines.

We’re Passionate About Finding Someone Who…

  • Completion of post secondary degree or diploma in project coordination, community, education, business administration, marketing or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with project coordination and scheduling
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Willingness to work with flexibility, including working alternative hours, changing priorities
  • Proven ability to multi-task in a busy environment, to work well under pressure, and to prioritize tasks appropriately while meeting time-sensitive demands.
  • Strong communicator with strong administrative skills in reporting and correspondence with stakeholders.
  • Bilingual (English/French) is a definite asset
  • Passionate and energetic team player
  • Brings a strong understanding of intersectionality and Anti-Racist and Anti-Oppression practices
  • Has experience working in a not-for-profit, LGBTQI2S community and/or social justice environment
  • Has knowledge / lived experience with the diverse experiences and identities of LGBTQI2S communities
