About The Post at 750

The Post at 750 is a cultural amenity space managed by the 110 Arts Cooperative. The four permanent tenants and members of the 110 Arts Cooperative are: PuSh International Performing Arts Festival Society, the Touchstone Theatre Society, Music on Main Society and The Documentary Media Society (producers of the annual DOXA Documentary Film Festival.)


With 2 studios available for community rental, the facility provides access to scarce and crucial downtown short-term rental space at below-market rates for arts and culture organizations, as well as other not-for-profits. Corporate and private renters round out the mix, making The Post at 750 a vibrant and diverse hub of activity.


About the Facility Assistant Position

The Facility Assistant will support the Facility Manager with a variety of tasks, primarily in relation to studio rentals and facility care.

The ideal candidate will have

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer skills including knowledge of Mac OS/Apple software, Gmail, Google Sheets/spreadsheet formulas and anchors
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Some customer service experience
  • Some technical aptitude in regards to basic audio & video setups and troubleshooting, or a willingness and interest in learning

Expected tasks will include

  • answering the door phone and greeting visitors to the facility
  • responding to email and phone inquiries regarding studio rentals
  • processing rental agreements
  • creating invoices and processing payments
  • maintaining the cleanliness of the shared spaces, including the kitchen, lounge, and washrooms
  • assisting renters with studio orientation and set up, including the A/V system


Office hours are Monday-Friday, 9am - 5pm. The position is 8-10 hours per week to start, ideally Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 12:30pm - 5pm (negotiable). There will also be the opportunity for full-day employment to cover for when the Facility Manager is on holiday.
