Overnight Awake Casual Community Support Worker


Delta Community Living Society is a non-profit organization that strives to provide the highest quality support services to people with developmental disabilities. It is our goal to support people where they want to be living, working and playing. Our desire to be “People who value people” impacts everything we say and do.


We are currently recruiting for Overnight Awake Casual Community Support Workers. In your role, you will ensure the well being and promote the development of individuals. You monitor residents through the night and support their morning routines. Perform light housekeeping duties and food preparation as required. A result-oriented person that works with others to obtain the desired outcomes is required. Typical hours of work will be between the hours of 11pm-9am weekdays and or weekends.


Experience in providing services to adults with development disabilities is essential, and the successful candidate will also meet the following requirements:


    • Post Secondary education, preferably in Human Sciences and two to five years direct experience in the community social service sector or the equivalent.
    • Current Food Safe Certification
  • Clear criminal record check, valid 1st Aid and Class 4 driver’s license, or the ability to obtain one within 3 months of employment.
