The MukiBaum Accessibility Centre is looking for a Program Supervisor to oversee our Adult Day Program which supports people who have autism, developmental and other complex disabilities. This is a full time, permanent position for 35 hours weekly (Monday to Friday between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm).

The MukiBaum Accessibility Centre is a non-government funded charity (NGO) that has a long professional record of developing ground-breaking pioneering successful programs in working with this population. A key element of the MukiBaum’s philosophy is the unique Multi-Focal Approach, which was developed and implemented in 1980 by Dr. Nehama Baum.  The Multi Focal Approach focuses on perceiving the person as a whole human being, as opposed to solely focusing on his or her challenges and disabilities. To enable a person’s hidden abilities to be expressed, MukiBaum treats behaviour as a language of communication that needs to be understood rather than prevented. Within the Multi Focal Approach, the understanding of the verbal and nonverbal language and behavior of a person enables us to attend to their underlying emotional, psychological and sensory challenges.
