About the Role


The Coordinator, Program Delivery plays a key role in assisting with the planning and implementation of IEC-BC programs and initiatives in collaboration with the Managers. The scope of work includes program coordination and delivery, training and facilitation, administration and other project support as assigned.


Reports to: Senior Manager, Programs and Stakeholder Relations.


Scope of Responsibilities


Program Delivery Support

  • Provide overall program support in coordination with the Managers.
  • Oversee online registration of all programs.
  • Administer online systems including: ensure smooth operation, provide general trouble shooting support to service providers; liaise with system developers to resolve issues and coordinate the delivery of training to employer partners and service providers.
  • Coordinate program meetings, information and orientation sessions, including confirming participants, event materials and logistics.
  • Work collaboratively with communications and other program staff to ensure coordination of program event planning and development.
  • Maintain inventory of all program communication materials, replenishing stock as required.
  • Assist in collecting, compiling and reporting on program statistics and outcomes.


  • Provide support and/or deliver training sessions(in-person and web-based) for new and ongoing service provider partners involved in any and all programs.
  • Provide support to and/or deliver orientation sessions (in-person and web-based).
  • Identify emerging training needs and propose new training opportunities.
  • Review and update training content and format regularly to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
  • In collaboration with the Manager, Global Connections, identify opportunities to enhance the capacity of employer partners and mentors through training, networking or other opportunities.

Office Administration

  • Answer and manage incoming calls
  • Monitor, screen, respond to and redirect incoming communications.
  • Maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems for the portfolio.
  • Prepare and edit documents including reports, memos and email.


Other Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned by the CEO or Senior Manager.


About You: Required Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years administrative experience.
  • Minimum 2 years event planning and coordination experience.
  • Experience in public speaking and presentations.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple projects and managing shifting priorities.
  • Some not for profit experience.
  • Advanced use of MS Office Suite including: Word, Excel, Access and Outlook.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build cooperative working relationships internally and externally.
  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure and deliver projects in a timely manner.
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently and within a team.
