Position Summary

 

Accountable to the executive director, this position provides assistance to the executive director, prepares meetings for the Board of Directors and supports the dental, medical, pharmacy and multicultural family centre teams. They will plan, organize, coordinate, and control all administrative and operational procedures, activities, and documentation of the executive director’s office. This position also provides a leadership role to the administrative team.

 

Highlights Qualifications and Skills

 

  • Post secondary training in business administration or communications, or a combination of related work experience.
  • A minimum of three years experience as executive assistant, preferably in non-profit, community health or social services sector.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills: Displays a professional and friendly demeanor at all times
  • High levels of initiative, flexibility and responsiveness: is able to learn and adapt quickly while facing continuously changing demands.
  • Displays honesty and integrity.
  • Exceptional time management and problem solving skills
