  • Travel to clients home daily to perform services for the agency client
  • Provide homemaking and respite care, and perform all personal care duties
  • Assist in the preparation of daily meals and nutritional snacks
  • Monitor client’s well-being and informs supervisor of any changes or incidents
  • Work with limited supervision and as part of a team of health care professionals
  • Perform other duties as required


  • Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate
  • Physical ability to perform light cleaning and lifting (e.g. washing floors, dusting, laundry, and transferring clients) and knowledge of basic health and safety standards
  • Able to build relationships with clients using a gentle approach
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential
  • Demonstrated ability to work with limited supervision
  • Immunization for tuberculosis, chickenpox, mumps and hepatitis B is strongly urged
  • Current First AID & CPR Certification is required
  • Preferred LOCATION to reside in Etobicoke or North York
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Police check completed within last 12 months is required
  • Familiarity in the use of Computers, E-mail and Internet
  • Fluency in a second language such as Italian/Spanish is an asset
  • Access to a reliable vehicle is a requirement
