The Role:

As a Quality Service Analyst at CLBC, you represent CLBC as the primary point of contact for service providers.

Accountabilities include:

  • Negotiating contract costing details and advising on requirements for corrective action in contracted service delivery;
  • Identifying opportunities for agency service reorganization and assisting with the implementation;
  • Consulting about support requests and needs, service availability and resource suitability for the individuals we serve to assess a variety of issues;
  • Ensuring that individuals and their families receive information about individual resource allocation decisions; 
  • Working with the Facilitator in assisting individuals and their families who are experiencing a crisis;
  • Recruiting and developing new service relationships;
  • Providing information to assist in the investigation of licensed residential resources;

Key duties include:

  • Developing standardized service contracts or Individual Funding Agreements and negotiating the costing details and quantities
  • Liaising with the manager and other key staff regarding current funding limitations or delays and participating as a team member in local budget management
  • Receiving reports from service providers, individuals, families and friends:
    • reviewing to ensure plan objectives have been met; identify potential issues, at-risk concerns and service
      problems;
    • conducting on-site reviews (staffed residential facilities, homes, day programs, etc.) as necessary and investigating service provider competency issues;
  • Reviewing financial reports details to ensure delivery of agreed-upon services for approved funding supports

Qualifications:

  • Business-related Bachelor Degree preferably with a human service orientation or work experience
  • Or 10 years recent relevant community living experience
  • Experience working in Community Living field and with social service resource development and contract management or equivalent is preferred

Transportation arrangements must meet the operational requirements of CLBC. Use of own vehicle on expenses. 

Additional Info:
This is an auxiliary position. Auxiliaries may cover vacancies or maternity, vacation, sick or long term leaves of varying lengths.
Open to internal and external applicants

Temporary - Anticipated 70 hours bi-weekly to March 2021
Classification/Salary: Social Program Officer (Growth to R24) / $29.73 to $39.15 hourly

Successful applicants are subject to a Criminal Record Check and are required to provide a clean Driver's Abstract.
