Position / Poste: Procurement Assistant – ​Employment Services 
 
Duties / Fonctions:
  • Undertake research for the purpose of gathering statistical, analytical and anecdotal data for RFP processes
  • Monitor, on a daily basis, bid sites for relevant opportunities (MERX, etc) and disseminate as required
  • Supporting other aspects of RFP/CFP/RFQ development, including collecting support letters, record management, data entry, document formatting, editing. 
  • Assist in establishing good foundational processes to ensure procurement processes are followed and expectations for submission met
  • Compile and maintain project experience data, including case studies, testimonials, professional CVs and descriptions for inclusion in credentials and proposed materials
  • Assist in developing PowerPoint or other similar materials to support submissions and interviews
  • Track proposals and submissions
  • Contribute to procurement database and proposal preparation library by identifying reusable proposal content
Qualifications / Compétences requises:
  • Post-secondary education in Office Administration, Business Administration or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in office administration/business adminsitration with a preference for experience in procurement/RFP/RFQ/CPF processes and submissions
  • Experience in an employment services setting
  • Exceptional writing, proofreading, and editing skills
  • Excellent researching and data compilation skills for the purposes of procurement. Excellent
  • Exceptional verbal communication and interviewing skills, self-directed, proactive and able to work independently
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully accomplish responsibility in high pressure, high workload environment.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills and attention to detail to ensure timelines and accuracy of content; ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe family of products
  • Demonstrated ability to fulfil responsibilities remotely and in a virtual environment
  • Flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks
