HERE’S WHAT WE CAN DO TOGETHER

This position will provide support to the Fund Development team. Projects will include assistance with event coordination, administration, and other annual campaign activities, raising essential funds for FSGV’s community programs.

 

YOUR KEY CONTRIBUTIONS

 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and execute assigned clerical and logistical activities defined by the Fund Development Coordinator. Projects include, but are not limited to, the Speakeasy Soirée, A Night in the Life, and multiple Holiday Campaigns.
  • Process event payments, tax receipts and thank you letters.
  • Create marketing and promotional materials including social media posts, email campaigns, event materials.
  • Pull reports and generate mailing lists for monthly and annual reports.
  • Maintain and manage donor database and auction website.
  • Follow up with event and campaign donors, sponsors and guests.
  • Assist with event volunteer recruitment and coordination
  • Provide on-site event support

 

 

Accountability:

  • Maintains a high level of customer service to sponsors, volunteers, and donors.
  • Accountable to all FSGV staff, donors, and volunteers.
  • Maintains strict privacy and confidentiality of all personal information belonging to donors, volunteers, and staff that you encounter during your time at FSGV.
  • Operates within the philosophy, culture, and values of FSGV.

 

Qualifications:

  • Preferably college or program completion in event planning
  • Completed events diploma
  • Significant event experience necessary
  • Excellent computer, communication, and organizational skills
  • Customer service experience an asset
  • Fluent in English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Some database management experience is a plus
