Main Business Objectives
The Dynamics 365 developer will join the Business Systems team within the Information Technology group. Reporting to the Manager, Business Systems the successful candidate will play an integral part in our implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, as well as the maintenance and later upgrade of the Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2 financial system. 
As such, the role requires a diligent, detail-oriented person that embraces challenges, the opportunity to learn and able to work under pressure while ensuring an excellent level of service. 
 
Responsibilities
  • Provide overall software development expertise
  • Adhere and provide recommendations to improve the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Work with business analysts, consultants and stakeholders to  understand requirements
  • Develop proposed solutions, ensuring they meet company standards
  • Design and review user interfaces
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and efficiencies
  • Configure, develop and/or implement Dynamics 365 solutions and/or add-on 3rd party products
  • Develop reports and dashboards
  • Develop and maintain integrations with other systems 
  • Maintain, support and customize Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2 financial system
  • Complete testing and ensure solutions meet business requirements
  • Perform code reviews
  • Migrate data from other systems and spreadsheets into Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Provide support to end-users
  • Communicate effectively, proactively and meaningfully
  • Maintain configuration and change management logs of entire Dynamics 365 implementation
  • Define and update classification of data, roles, permissions and periodic user access reviews
  • Assist with audits
  • Develop, maintain and deliver training to end users
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues and bugs
  • Be proactive in professional development and take advantage of opportunities to grow
  • Stay current on updates and market trends related to Microsoft Dynamics 365 and its ecosystem
  • Share all knowledge and provide updates to the entire team
Qualifications/Compétences requises:
 
All applicants must possess the following
  • College diploma, university degree in the field of computer science or relevant Microsoft accreditation
  • +2yrs developer/technical experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013/2016 or 365 Customer Engagement
  • Strong knowledge of C/AL and C#
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL, SSIS and SSRS
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics integration with Microsoft SharePoint
  • Strong knowledge of Graphical User Interface (GUI) and User Experience (UX) design
  • Ability to work with little supervision, provide accurate estimates and deliver to agreed-upon timelines
  • Excellent resolution management and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team, share knowledge and ideas
  • Good communication skills
  • Must achieve Government of Canada security clearance at Reliability level or above
  • Ideal candidates also demonstrate the following:
  • Knowledge and technical experience with Microsoft Dynamics Marketing, Field Service Management or Talent
  • Knowledge and technical experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 – 2018
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 – 2018
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Power BI
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft PowerApps and Flow
  • Knowledge and experience developing / integrating with Web Services and API’s
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure Active Directory
  • Experience with Digital Process Automation (DPA) or Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions
  • Previous experience with Canadian non-profit organizations
  • Strong knowledge of finance and procurement principles and processes
Salary Range/Échelle des salaires: 65,000 to 75,000
