Transitions Rehabilitation Association of St. Albert & District is presently looking for:


Supervisor, Adult Services: Mobile Supports


Full Time - Monday - Friday


Position Overview:

The Supervisor is responsible for supporting their teams in achieving
Transitions’ Vision and Mission. 
Through commitment, coaching and supervision the Supervisor will ensure the delivery of quality service to adults receiving service.



• Be inspirational and embrace a culture toward a shared vision.
• Cultivate collaborative working relationships based on open communication, trust and understanding with all stakeholders.
• Nurture a positive culture where staff feel supported, valued and engaged.
• Provide a learning environment to support skill development for Team Leads and Direct Support Professionals.
• Work collaboratively with Team Leads to recruit staff who are a good match for the person receiving service and will support people to pursue their goals and dreams.
• Ensure staffing needs and other supports are identified and align with each person’s Individual Support Plan.
• Ensure Individual Service Reports are completed and submitted as required.
• Develop budgets and service delivery proposals for new or changed services and/or continuation of existing services.
• Complete performance appraisals. 
• Attend Leadership Team and Team Lead meetings.
• Ensure practices, procedures and guidelines are being followed to ensure accreditation standards are met.  
• Ensure policies, procedures and processes are understood and practiced by team members.
• Be knowledgeable about Transitions framework and have an understanding of the strategic/operational plans that guide the services we provide.

 Supporting Wellness and Safety:

• Support people to participate and be valued in their community.
• Support people to become Citizens by committing to the principles of building independence, self-sufficiency and community connections.
• Encourage self advocacy and self-determination.
• Effectively manage crisis; assessing the risk and acting accordingly.
• Comply with all workplace health and safety rules and guidelines.  



• Diploma/Degree in Community Rehabilitation or a related field of study.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in human services.
• Experience in Leadership, Coaching and Supervision.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
• The ability to facilitate training would be an asset.
• A clear, current Criminal Record Check, which includes vulnerable sector.
