WJS Canada is currently looking for an individual to join our Concord House program in Abbotsford, as a Full-Time Program Coordinator 2.

The Program:

The Concord House Program is designed to accommodate youth that are unable to reside with family or in a group home setting. Our services support youth recovering from adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and overcoming other adversity by providing them with housing and trauma-based guidance.


We accommodate and support traumatized youth in comfortable and welcoming facilities with twenty four hour staffing. We offer a safe environment in a residential and friendly neighbourhood. Concord House may house up to two youth.


The Position:

Plans, implements and oversees the day to day operations of a program in this CARF accredited agency; directly supervises program staff and provides support to contractors as required.



This full-time position will work 40 hours per week with a weekly schedule of:

  • Wednesday through Sunday 1500-2300
  • Required to be “on-call” during scheduled time off.


As an ideal candidate you possess:

  • A degree or diploma in one of the humanities, social sciences or related field.
  • Minimum of three years in a similar facility or program, with at least one year in a supervisory or management role.
  • Current WCB Occupational First Aid, Level 1 and CPR certificates required.
  • Experience with basic sign language and/or alternative communication strategies training or experience an asset.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and clean driver’s abstract

Other Requirements:

  • A physician’s note confirming suitability, including a negative tuberculosis screening test
  • Successful criminal record/vulnerable sector check.
  • Successful candidate must sign an oath of confidentiality, a conflict of interest statement, abuse protocols, and a code of ethics statement
