Searidge Foundation is a residential drug and alcohol addiction treatment facility that aspires to support, challenge and inspire individuals struggling with substance dependencies. It was founded to meet the needs for a rehabilitation centre in Nova Scotia, Canada, that provides an elevated level of quality to recovery-at an affordable cost. We take pride in limiting our rehab center to 12 residents in order to maintain our consistently excellent level of quality through highly individualized recovery programs.


Clinical Director Position Description

We are seeking a Clinical Director with strong experience in leading a clinical team and providing exceptional evidenced based clinical services while adhering to provincial, federal, insurance, and company policies.

Our program provides clinical services to clients with substance use disorders and concurrent mental health disorders. The Clinical Director will lead a clinical team consisting of therapists, counselors, and other medical specialty service team members. This team will provide group therapy, individual therapy, and aftercare planning.


Language Requirements:



Educational Requirements:

- Masters Degree or PhD in medicine, psychology, or counselling from an accredited institution.

- Licensed to practice in Nova Scotia, or the ability to transfer license to the province.


Past Experience Required:

- Management of a clinical team with a minimum of 5 years experience.

- Management of medical services of up to 12 patients in residential setting preferred.

- Strong knowledge of substance use, trauma treatment, and research practices.


Duties will include:

- Managing all Clinical operations at Searidge Foundation.

- Overseeing treatment plans of up to 12 residents at a time.

- Overseeing individual and group therapy provided at Searidge Foundation.

- Overseeing prescriptions, doctor appointments, and all other services provided by external medical professionals.

- Overseeing aftercare plans of all residents (aftercare provided to residents up to a year after their program completion).



- Full-time, permanent

- 40 hours a week, 8 hours a day.
