At the Southeastern Alberta Sexual Assault Response Committee (SARC) we believe that together we can end sexual violence.

We are looking for one remarkable Clinical Team Lead who is a team player, shows initiative, is friendly, fun, highly organized, creative, likes to get things done and knows when to relax.

Under the day-to-day direction of the Executive Director, the Clinical Team Lead is responsible for the development, coordination, implementation and impact of evidence-based SARC’s sexual trauma specific therapy services. The Team Lead provides supervision to all staff employed in this program. This position requires 36.25 hours per week.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing one on one sexual trauma specific therapy
  • Leading psycho-educational and support group facilitation
  • Program development, implementation, and evaluation
  • Lead a team of remarkable people

Qualifications:

  • A master’s degree in a human services discipline with a clinical focus; a combination of experience and education may be considered
  • Current member in good standing with the applicable regulatory body
  • Proven experience as a Team Lead
  • Experience running support and psycho-educational groups
  • Clinical experience and relevant training specific to working with individuals who have experienced sexual trauma
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
  • Outstanding knowledge of data analysis and reporting
  • Demonstrates compassion through non-judgmental words and actions. 
  • Cultural sensitivity and competence in addressing needs of diverse populations. 
  • Excellent and proven leadership, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interact positively and professionally with both lay members of the community and professionals from a wide range of sectors.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software and computers
  • Class 5 licence
