VICKI MCLEOD, ORSCC
Vicki is a certified professional systems coach and strategic communications specialist and consultant. She is a creative problem solver and for more than 20 years has combined her education and management skills to provide consulting services to leaders and organizations that want to transform the way they do business and engage with their stakeholders and communities.
In addition to managing a successful business, Vicki has held senior management positions in non-profits, acted as a consultant and coach for managers, leaders and elected officials, and was the marketing manager for an arts centre. She is a gifted process facilitator with a commitment to fostering conscious change. This extensive work experience gives Vicki unique insights into developing positive processes, goals, and strategies for a wide range of clients.
In 1996, Vicki founded Main Street Communications Ltd. As president, she focuses on strategic communications, marketing projects and leadership and organizational development consulting for clients in municipal government, health care, education, the arts and environmental advocacy.
As a natural extension of her work in communications, leadership and organizational development, Vicki developed the next level of her career: coaching individuals, partnerships and teams. In addition to her broad work experience, Vicki has an international certification in Organizational and Relationship Systems Coaching (ORSC) and is a member of the International Coaches Federation. She also has a certificate in Voluntary and Non-Profit Sector Management from Imagine Canada (formerly the Canadian Centre for Philanthropy) obtained through Simon Fraser University.
As a coach, she uses a values-based approach and collaborates with clients to create a framework of principles that guide the coaching process. Vicki helps her clients to identify strengths and core values and to develop powerful strategies that align with their goals. Her work goes beyond supporting individual transformation. As a practitioner of ORSC, Vicki and her associates elevate the coaching process to a level that focuses on organizational and team culture, and leverages the power of the system itself to create and sustain change.
Systems Coaching is a revolutionary approach to change management, leadership and team development, conflict resolution, strategic planning and transformational initiatives. Vicki is a coach-consultant hybrid. In addition to coaching individuals, relationships and systems, she uses her communications expertise and values-based systems approach to help organizations design and deliver strategic communications and marketing plans, stakeholder consultations and media and community relations programs.
Vicki has a deep belief that individuals and organizations can actualize their dreams and create the positive change they desire.
