An established arts and cultural sector leader, Pru has built her reputation over three decades as an arts executive and expert advisor to the pubic, private and non-profit sectors in Canada and the UK. The centerpiece of Pru’s practice is the development of actionable multi-sector approaches to support arts and cultural sector development, creative economy activation, sustainable and inclusive urban regeneration and creative placemaking.

A passionate advocate for arts and culture, and their transformative impact on people and communities, Pru is an experienced intermediary and facilitator with a successful track record engaging diverse stakeholders to shape project development.

As Vice President of Artscape and Director of its Creative Placemaking Lab, for ten years Pru led Toronto Artscape’s research, consulting and advisory services across Canada. She directed project development, program design, partner and stakeholder engagement for major arts facilities including Daniel’s Spectrum, Artscape Launchpad and Artscape Weston Hub.  As an independent consultant in the UK, Pru advised all tiers of government, arts and cultural agencies and organizations, regeneration and economic development partnerships on cultural policy and creative placemaking. She brings to her work substantial experience as a policy maker in the UK’s national arts funding system and practical professional experience as an arts centre manager and programmer in London.

A trusted adviser negotiating thoughtful, bespoke and innovative solutions to often complex problems, Pru navigates challenging, multi-dimensional projects with discretion, nuance and sound judgement.
