Position: Clinical Counsellor (SAS - Sexual Assault Services)

Location: Parksville, Vancouver Island, BC

Hours: 5 hrs/wk Temporary until March 31, 2025

Salary: Grid 16p $41.78-$51.14

We are looking for a Clinical Counsellor to join our Sources Oceanside team! This position will provide clinical services to Sexual Assault Survivors (all ages and genders) in the Nanaimo and Oceanside areas. This position will work directly with survivors providing evidence-based therapeutic treatment, to assist in recovery following sexual assault or sexual abuse. The individual must have strong interpersonal skills, have experience providing therapy related to sexual assault/sexual abuse using trauma and culturally responsive practices, and work well in a team.

Qualifications / Training / Experience:

• Master’s degree in human services (e.g., MACP, MC, MA (CYC), MSW)
• Registration with a governing body required (RCC, CCC).
• Two (2) years recent related experience.
• Ability to obtain a clear Criminal Record Check (CRC)
