Hours of Work: 40 hours per week; Days (Monday through Friday 7:15 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.); hours may change depending on the program and children’s needs
Compensation: $22.80 per hour, plus Government Approved Wage Enhancement for all hours worked directly with children to fully licensed ECE Staff. Plus, a generous leave, benefits and pension package.
Program & Location: The Alex Early Care & Learning Centre – Coquitlam
Union: BC Government Employee’s Union (BCGEU) - This position requires union membership

Additional Requisites/Assets:
• A BC Early Childhood Educator license to practice is required
• An Infant and Toddler certificate is required
• Special Needs certificate is an asset
• Experience working with infants, toddlers, and children with complex needs is an asset
• A valid child-oriented First Aid Certificate is required
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the position
• Covid-19 (including booster) and annual flu vaccinations are recommended
• Legal authorization to work in Canada
